All grab bars must meet or exceed the compliance standards adopted in the American Disabilities Act and we only install ADA compliant bars.

There is a good possibility that we CAN install your grab bars provided they are the right size for structural purposes and are clearly labelled as ADA compliant. We reserve the right to refuse installation if we don’t feel that your grab bars meet the standard. Most grab bars that are shipped to you in 3 pieces do not meet the requirement and will only cause headaches for you in the future. We would ask you to keep your receipt in case they need to be returned.

The problem;
Over the years, we have noticed that many of the shower heads are simply too tall for many of our residents. They are forced to reach up to try to dislodge the wand or switch the water from the shower head to the shower wand. This is dangerous and also very uncomfortable for those with shoulder and neck issues.
The solution;
At Grabbars and More™, we have solved two problems;
- Installing 24-inch vertical grab bars beside the shower controls to allow client to easily access the shower wand allowing the client to use the vertical grab bar for stability while entering or exiting the shower area. They are a beautiful addition to the shower.
- The client can now adjust the shower head to the appropriate location or slide it all the way down to use from a seated position.
